“You might get me a gas mask.”

Sullivan was convicted of the death of police officer John Bradbury when the officer attempted to search him for firearms. Sullivan drank whiskey, smoked cigars, and grinned at the witnesses to his execution before being strapped into the gas chamber. His last words were in response if he wanted anything else.
