Earl Blaisure is killed by his wife Molly (inaccurately described here as his girlfriend) after beating her with the barrel of a rifle when it failed to fire
Earl Blaisure (24), a stove factory worker, had been know for beating his wife, Molly Blaisure (24), who stabbed her husband in the heart with a boning knife as their young children, Earleen (2) and Margaret (1), slept. When arrested, she had a freshly blackened eye giving credibility to her claim of self defense. Molly was acquitted July 12, 1942.
