Young teen shoots teacher after being sent to the principal for punishment

March 4, 1920
Cincinnati, Ohio

14-year-old Lawrence Angel shot his teacher in the arm as revenge for being sent to the principal’s office. He was sent to alienists (an archaic term for psychologists or psychiatrists) to be evaluated and then to the Gallipolis Hospital for Epileptics. Unfortunately, that’s the extent of the information I could find.
