A group of people gather cabin in the woods, drink heavily, and engage in a “hex party” to “kill Adolf Hitler by voodoo incantation”
The gathering was recorded by LIFE magazine and published in their February 10, 1941 issue, and describe the alcohol-fueled ritual involving a dressmaker’s dummy that had nails driven into its throat and heart, curses directed at its throat, attacked with weapons as pictured, decapitated, and buried “in deep pine woods to be devoured by worms.”
