Japanese voice actor Daisuke Gōri (born Yoshio Nagahori) collapses in a street in Tokyo, laying on his stomach with blood coming from his wrists, with a utility knife close to his lifeless body and a note in his pocket addressed to his family reads “thank you” and “I’m sorry”

Gōri, known for his deep voice, was a beloved voice actor known for his roles in Dragon Ball Z, Soul Calibur, Dead of Alive, Patlabor, Gundam, Ninja Scroll, Cutie Honey, Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star), One Piece, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and many more. He had been suffering from a detached retina as a complication of diabetes and was unable to read his scripts.
