New York
David “The Beetle” Beadle is shot as he leaves a restaurant

Beadle had been involved in crime since at least his late teens. On December 9, Beadle, his wife, his brother, and their wives had been out dancing when Beadle stopped by a restaurant for a glass of water to take a pill for his heart condition. As he left the restaurant, a taxi carrying 2 men pulled up. Both men shot Beadle simultaneously and fled.
