Famous Last Words
Bobby Lee Ramdass
December 6, 2000
“The Redskins are going to the Super Bowl.”
Ramdass was convicted of 2 murders: one for the death of a man in a drug deal gone bad which earned him a life sentence; and one for the murder of a convenience store attendant during a robbery, ensuring the death penalty. A customer in the convenience store and witness to the murder reported that after Ramdass shot the clerk in the head he remarked “that’s for taking too long.”
His last words were not prophetic; in 2000 the St. Louis Rams and the Tennessee Titans went to the Super Bowl.
