Newspaper clippings: “whim” killing murderers questioned; deadly fire kills 3 young children

Four people are questioned about a “whim” killing in which a 26-year-old man was fatally shot in a road rage incident. August Vogel, mentioned in this article, was later convicted and executed for the death.

A wife sparks a deadly fire in her home while trying to light a kerosene stove. Her husband was able to rescue her and their 11-year-old son, but their daughters, aged 5 years, 3 years, and 9 months, burned to death in their cribs.
