A man shot his estranged wife, her sister, and himself to “get (her), dead or alive.” The attack left the husband and wife dead and the sister fatally wounded.

A 16-year-old was granted $25,000 (over $360,000 in 2017) for the loss of sight in one eye, the result of being struck by a neighbor wielding a tree branch as the neighbor chased the teen and 3 friends off his yard.
