Time After Time is released

August 31, 1979

Released on the anniversary of the first confirmed Jack the Ripper murder, Time After Time brings to life H.G. Wells and a time machine he creates to find Jack the Ripper to bring him to justice. Instead, they both are brought into the “present day” (1979’s present day). Jack marvels at how immoral the world is, how in his time he was a “freak” but now he is an “amateur,” and delights at the murders he can commit in this new setting.
